Marriage

Icon Heading

The Sacrament of Marriage represents an important step in the life of any couple. Like all sacraments, it requires spiritual preparation and it should be noted that a Marriage Preparation Course is required. A Wedding Ceremony also requires additional planning as you must reserve the Church and coordinate with the Music Director. Please note, we only make wedding arrangements with the couple, not with their parents or representatives.

Making Wedding Arrangements

After your engagement, the next step in preparing for Marriage is to make a personal appointment to meet with one of our priests. Ideally, this is done at least six months in advance of your desired date. You will also need to enroll in a Marriage Preparation Course. There are a number of options in this regard and the priest will work with you to choose one that is best for each couple.

Wedding Music

We ask that couples meet with our Music Director even if they are bringing in their own music personal. Please make an appointment, via the Parish Center with Anne Stewart, our Music Director.

Anointing of the Sick

Icon Heading

This sacrament may take several forms:

The priest can visit the home of the person to be anointed. The participation of family and friends are strongly encouraged to witness the ecclesial character of the sacrament.

The parish can invite the sick person to participate in a scheduled healing liturgy along with family and friends.

The priest can visit hospitals, nursing homes and other long-term care facilities, such as hospice facilities, for anointings.

Please contact the Parish office for information on how to make arrangements to receive this sacrament at (406) 745-2768
